When should you have a periodic inspection and test on your property?
The IEE guidance recommends inspection and testing in the following situations:
Domestic – change of occupancy or every 10 years, whichever is sooner.
Commercial – change of occupancy or every 5 years, whichever is sooner.
Shops – every 5 years.
Caravans – every 3 years.
Industrial – every 3 years.
